<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Square announced 10 new generative AI features that sellers can use now to automate operations, speed up workflows, and regain time. These tools are directly integrated into Square’s powerful business software and provide the company’s millions of sellers with an extra set of hands to help them juggle the multifaceted demands that come with running a business.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Earlier in 2023, Square made generative AI a key business priority, with the aim of providing sellers with generative AI-powered tools that enable them to benefit from the time and cost savings promised by this new wave of technology. The launch marks a major step toward delivering against that goal, and not only putting real, tangible products into the hands of sellers, but also delivering that value across the Square ecosystem.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Key new generative AI-powered features include:</span></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><b>Menu Generator: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Restaurants can now create a full menu on Square in just a few minutes with just a few clicks, giving them – or any business looking to expand into food and drink offerings – valuable momentum and time-savings when launching operations on Square.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"><b>Photo Environments: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">E-commerce sellers can now add hyperreal AI-generated backgrounds and choose from more than 50 style prompts with the latest version of the Photo Studio app, helping them elevate their websites and attract more customers. Since July 1, while in beta, sellers have created and saved over 14,000 AI Environment images.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">More new Square tools help sellers with </span><b>content creation,</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> providing them AI-generated content for their public sites, item descriptions, and marketing content:</span></p>

Llama 2 integration makes it possible for Sendbird to further empower companies to leverage generative AI securely without exposing data to third-party servers.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Attest, a consumer research platform provider, has released Video Responses to help companies carry out quantitative and qualitative research under one roof, powered by artificial intelligence.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Video Responses questions can be added to surveys, with responses accessible in the Attest dashboard alongside quantitative results. The feature uses AI to provide automated transcripts, allowing users to quickly read through responses and identify key themes. AI is also used to screen videos to ensure only high-quality responses are delivered.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Organizing research can be an expensive and time-consuming task, especially detailed, in-depth interviews or focus groups with customers or target customers. Because of this, brands do qualitative research very rarely or not at all. We wanted to make qual research much more accessible by facilitating a way to collect real video-based responses digitally. Now we have enhanced our platform to enable video responses, gathering qual data is as easy as sending a text message,&#8221; Attest Founder and CEO Jeremy King said in a statement. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Verint PII Redaction Bot automatically identifies and removes PII in interaction data. It can be used in combination with other approaches like automated screen triggers to redact PII.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;With data privacy laws increasing across the globe to help protect citizens, brands need to comply, or risk damaged reputations and lack of trust due to data breaches. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Recognizing the need for rational, concrete AI use-cases, the BlastX AI Innovation Center is helping clients cut through the hype and hysteria about AI, providing self-assessment tools linked to clear, step-by-step roadmaps for operationalizing AI.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“New innovations like AI alter the way brands work to enhance and improve customer experiences,” said Brian McIntosh, BlastX’s Chief Consulting Officer, “but those efforts still have to align with the brand’s goals and identity. The BlastX AI Innovation Center is such a powerful venture because it pairs technologists’ rapidly evolving understanding of AI’s capabilities with our consultants’ familiarity with digital CX challenges gained over decades. In other words, we know what AI can do, and we know where it’s needed most.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to McIntosh, the Center will lay out “best practices for seamlessly and responsibly wedding human experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning to design, develop, engage, and optimize customer experiences at scale.” While the ultimate goal of the Center is to issue best practices that apply across industries, the insights used to determine those best practices come directly from client experiences. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">For example, AI was recently used to augment outreach for the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF), a national organization that was struggling to connect its website visitors to the information and licensing forms they needed. RBFF partnered with BlastX Consulting to create a targeted AI program to address these digital disjunctions. The program they implemented ultimately increased website traffic, brand recognition, and recreational license conversions. RBFF Senior Manager of Digital Operations Charles Neville said, “The collaboration with BlastX Consulting helped us harness AI to attract new visitors and get them the information they needed while maintaining the highest quality standards for our content.
